GSA Schedules Proposal Development Workshop
GSA Contracts are purchasing vehicles that allow federal, state, and local governments to purchase products and services from you — up to $1 Million per purchase order — without going through the bidding process. The average GSA contractor does over $2.7 Million and the average TXMAS contractor does over $700,000 per year through their contracts. This class is for companies in Texas that are currently thinking of getting into or growing their existing government sales. This class includes:
The 360 Company offers a workshop for companies that choose to develop their own GSA Schedule Proposal. While the average company will spend over 300 – 400 developing their GSA proposal, the workshop will enable companies to significantly reduce the time spent.
The Process
- A 360 Company expert will contact you to help you to determine the right schedule for you, describe the GSA process, review the documents that you will need to bring to the workshop, and answer any questions that you have
- We will send you a checklist of documents and information that you will need to bring with you to the workshop
- Before you come to the workshop, you will need to spend time at your office gathering those documents. You will need to gather information like historical sales data, information about past projects, pricing information, etc.
- At the 3 day workshop, we will begin with a presentation on pricing and sales practices.
- You will be issued a computer and a thumb drive with a template for your proposal. You will also be given detailed instructions for completing the proposal. You will begin to work on actually assembling your proposal. You will not need to have knowledge on the Federal Acquisition Regulations or the entire 200 page solicitation. Our experts will be available to answer questions and coach you through the difficult items.
- When you are complete we will review your proposal, provide feedback and provide advice based on our extensive experience working with the GSA, and provide you with instructions for submitting your contract.
How much time will I save?
The average company will spend 300 – 400 man hours developing their GSA proposal. The workshop will enable companies to significantly reduce the time spent. You should expect to spend 20 – 40 hours gathering documents and information before you come to the workshop. You do this in your office, at your own pace. You will spend 24 man hours at the workshop. The time you spend after the contract is submitted to the GSA will vary depending on what the Contracting Officer asks for clarifications, the quality of your proposal, and several other factors. In all, you can expect to save 200 – 300 man hours and 4 to 5 months of time.
